Norwood "Woody" T. Eatmon Jr., age 61, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully, Monday, October 24, 2022 at Bellin Hospital, surrounded by his family and friends, after a long illness. He was born February 18, 1961 in Huntington Beach, CA, son of the late Norwood T. and Patricia (Nott) Eatmon Sr.
Woody was an auto repair sales manager for various businesses in Southern California. He was later an owner/operator of his own truck for many years in Sheboygan. Following his medical retirement, Woody and Lisa moved to Green Bay.
Norwood was an enthusiastic fan of the Dallas Cowboys. His baseball team was the Los Angeles Dodgers. He was an avid fisherman and political junkie. Woody had the gift of gab and made friends everywhere he went-he knew no strangers. He married Lisa Halverson in July of 2001 and they shared 21 years of marriage. They were blessed with 2 daughters, Cateline and Patricia.
Norwood is survived by his wife, Lisa; his daughters, Cateline and Patricia and 3 siblings: LaDonna (Ed) Little, Gordon (the late Linda) Mitchell and Susan (the late William) Mead. He is further survived by his canine companion, Ziggy, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by 2 sisters, Cindy (Robert) Ryan and Penny Young.
Visitation will be held at Newcomer-Green Bay Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay), Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. A graveside service will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery at 2 PM.
Woody's family would like to extend their gratitude to the first responders that came to his aid in his time of need, as well as the staff at Bellin Hospital for their care and compassion. Thank you, as well, to Unity Hospice for their loving care.
