Norman A. Fugate

Norman A. Fugate, age 81, of Green Bay, passed away on Friday, December 15th, 2023. He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was born on March 29th, 1942 in Stambaugh MI, son of the late OJ and Joyce Fugate. Norman enlisted in the US Army, and served in Vietnam. Following his honorable discharge, he found employment at Fort Howard Paper Company where he worked for 34 years. He enjoyed his job, watching the Packers, being outdoors, and camping with his family. Most of all, he was a devout Christian, enjoying his time reading the Bible and sharing the message with others.

Norman is survived by his brother Larry (Carol) Fugate , sisters Cheryl(Alan) Peterson and Sharon (Marvin) Rometti; his three children, Hope (Rob) Hangen, Kevin (Kathy) Fugate, Mike Fugate; his grandchildren, Elizabeth (Jon) McKinney, Garrett (Jen) Hangen, Samuel Hangen, William Hangen, Ashley Fugate, Olivia Fugate, Aaron Fugate, Jacob Fugate, Joshua Fugate, Faith Fugate; and, his great grandchildren, Everleigh and Amelia McKinney and Gavin Hangen.

A visitation service to celebrate Norman's life will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023 from 1pm – 2pm followed by a funeral service and military honors at Fort Howard Memorial Park, 1350 N Military Ave, Green Bay, WI 54303.
