Norman L. Dorn, 67, of Kaukauna, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 5, 2023.
He was born March 17, 1956, in Appleton, Wisconsin, the son of Leo and Cecilia (Van Roy) Dorn. He served in the army from 1975 to 1978.
Norman was employed by the C.A. Lawton foundry in DePere, retiring in 2019.
Survivors include his daughters, Nicole Dorn and Gina Dorn; son Jamyle Dorn; grandchildren Kendra Riehl and Tucker Heim; sisters Connie Klesmit (Steve) and Sandra Peterson; brother-in-law Gary Anderson; nieces and nephews Christopher (Amy), Todd (Wanda), Jennifer (Keith), Michael (Renee), Tammy, Tracy (Russ), Kimberly (Lyle); and many great nieces and nephews, family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings Sharon Anderson, Jean Dorn, Michael Dorn, Bruce Dorn; brother-in-law Gary Peterson; and a niece Ashley Dorn.
Norman enjoyed spending time with his girls, grandchildren and the rest of his family. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, the casino, playing sheephead, going to the races, cooking, and baking.
A memorial ceremony will be held at 6:00 p.m., Monday, June 26, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions at 340 S. Monroe Avenue in Green Bay. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
