Norman Boyd Sr., age 66, of Two Rivers, formerly of Green Bay, WI, passed away peacefully, Sunday, August 7, 2022, surrounded by his family. He was born April 25, 1956 in Tokyo, Japan, son of the late Thomas Boyd and Sue (Saito) Boyd.
When Norman was an infant, his family moved to California. He attended schools in California, graduating from Newark High School. Norm and his son, Norm Jr. moved to Green Bay in 1996. Here he owned a maintenance business, which enabled him to use his talents as "Mr. Fix It." Norm met the love of his life, Kerry, through his love of thrifting. They spent 17 wonderful years together on their adventures hunting for treasures.
Norm was well known for his sense of humor and delicious cooking. He enjoyed listening to music and playing his guitar. His family and friends always looked forward to the Packer parties at his home. An avid outdoorsman, Norm loved fishing and tent camping. He always put others before himself and was available to help anyone that was in need of his expertise.
Norm is survived by his son, Norman (Beth) Boyd Jr. and their children, Oliver and Alana; his significant other, Kerry Tecsi and her children: Alison, Aaron and Andrea Tecsi; his feline companions, Max and Jasper and his mother, Sue Boyd.
He was preceded in death by his father, Tom Boyd.
A celebration of Norm's life will be held at Newcomer-Green Bay Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay), Friday, August 19, 2022 from 4 to 6 PM. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. To leave an online condolence for the family, please visit www.NewcomerGreenBay.com.
