Norbert Gerald Klarkowski , 93, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2022.
Norbert, affectionately known as "Buckets", was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin on February 14, 1929 to John and Anastasia Klarkowski.
Norbert served in the United States Navy in the Korean War and received both the Korean Service Medal and the United Nations Service Ribbon for his honorable service. He enjoyed his experience on the Honor Flight and was a very proud veteran.
Buckets invested so much of his life into his nieces and nephews and they had many cherished memories with him. In 1971, he married the love of his life, Lorraine and together raised a beautiful family. The enjoyed many wonderful years together before she passed in 2015.
Buckets loved life, had a heart of gold and was always there for anyone who needed him. He will be dearly missed.
Norbert is survived by his daughter Jackie Servais, daughter in law Jan Stangel and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and very special friends and neighbors who were always there for him.
Norbert was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Lorraine, his siblings Jean (Walter) Schwartz, Ambrose (Emery) Klark, Bernie (Laverne) Klarkowski, Chester (Phyllis) Klarkowski, Jack (Mary Ellen) Klarkowski, Felix (Gracie) Klarkowski, Fritzie (Reuben) Petrie, Beatrice (Roger) Dimmer, his son Jim (Jan), and son-in-law Ron (Jackie).
