Nick Dettman

Nicholas A. Dettman, age 43, of Green Bay, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2024, with family and friends at his side. He was born in Green Bay, August 8, 1980, son of Bruce and Michele Dettman and was a graduate of Green Bay Southwest High School, Class of 1999.

Nick spent many years working as a cook. He later attended NWTC and earned his welding certificate and worked as a welder at Feeco for over a decade.

Nick was a talented skateboarder and mentored many young kids in the sport. He also enjoyed snowboarding. Music was one of his greatest passions and he liked many different music genres. Nick had an eye for art and photography. He loved to spend time at the family cottage in Little Suamico and with his parents furbabies. 

Nicholas is survived by his parents, Bruce and Michele Dettman; a brother, Eric Dettman; 2 cousins, Charlie Welsch and Angela Walker; many aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends. 

Visitation will be held at Newcomer-Green Bay Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, WI), Friday, July 12, 2024 from 4 to 6 PM. A memorial service and sharing of memories will follow at 6 PM.
