Neil Stiles, Sr., age 76, of Green Bay, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016. He was born June 21, 1939 in Green Bay, son of the late Curtis and Eleanor (Stazak) Stiles.
Neil drove truck under the handle "Droopy Drawers" for about 30 years, retiring in 1988. He enjoyed all types of auto racing and was a racer himself. Neil was an avid outdoorsman and loved to fish. He was also a speed skater and a golden glove boxer. Neil played guitar and sang in many country western bands.
Neil is survived by his children: Tom (Kim) Strehlow, Norm (Jeanne) Stiles, Neil Stiles, Jr., Ellie Stiles, Jamey Stiles, Molly Houlihan, Todd (Ann) Stiles, Terri Cantu and Kimi Van Pay-Bilderback; step-children: Mary Jo (Brad) Johnson and Russ and Pam Longrie; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Lois (Rodney) Stary and Jean (Pat) McArdle; sister-in-law, Jackie Stiles and ex-wife, Adeline Dombrowski.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Curt Stiles and ex-wife, Mae Stiles.
Friends and relatives may call at ST. PAUL EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, (514 S. Clay St, Green Bay), Tuesday, March 15, 2016, from 4 to 5:30 PM. A memorial service will follow at 5:30 PM.
