Nathalie Jean (Marquardt) Brunette, 83, Green Bay, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, December 30, 2012.

Nathalie was born on December 7, 1929 in Oconto Falls to Leo & Elizabeth (Meier) Marquardt.

She graduated from Oconto Falls High School in 1948. In 1951 she married Kenneth Brunette, he preceded her in death in 1994. She was a Cub Scout den mother for many years and was active in Grace Lutheran Church, singing in the choir, on Alter Guild, Priscilla Circle and Mission Sewing. She worked at the VFW as a cook and waitress then at Younkers (Pranges) Terrace Room kitchen.
Nathalie enjoyed camping, gardening, baking, visiting with friends, family, needlework and watching the Packers. She enjoyed dogs and loved watching her "Granddogs."

She is survived by her children, Steve (Judy), Rick (Rose), Nancy Solberg, Jim (Tess), Tom and special friend Gail, and Michael (Elissa); grandchildren, Kari, Kelly and fiancé Keith, David (Chelsie), Katy Brunette, John Solberg and special friend Lacey, and Bob Solberg and special friend Sheila, Brandon Brunette, Michelle Brunette; great grandchildren, Addison, Emma, Ava, and Colton; step grandchildren, Amanda (Joel), Thomas and Britanny; step great grandchildren, Sierra, Austin, Dreiko; sisters, Claire (Bob) Lambert, Madge Hartinger; sister in law, Elaine Marquardt, Jan (Willie) Borley.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Patrick; sister, Betty; brothers, Alfred, Ted, Howard and Bill; sisters in law, Edith & Sally , Hazel; brother in law, Joe Hartinger.

Family and friends may call from 4:00pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, January 4, 2013, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave. Green Bay, visitation will continue Saturday, January 5, at Grace Lutheran Church, 321 South Madison St. Green Bay, from 9:00am until 10:00am with a funeral service at 10:00am with Pastor Larry Lange officiating. Burial will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Radio Fund at Grace Lutheran Church.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Heartland Hospice and her special friends Jessica, Elizabeth, and Rose.
