Nancy J. (Quigley) VandenBusch, age 89, of Allouez, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Woodside Lutheran Home. She was born July 17, 1928 to the late Harold and Mabel (Hansen) Quigley. Nancy was a 1946 graduate of Green Bay West High School and graduated from Prospect Hall, Milwaukee.
Nancy married Donald H. VandenBusch, May 24, 1952 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Together Nancy and Donald shared 48 loving years of marriage before Don preceded her in death, January 11, 2001.
Nancy was employed by Insurance Associates in Green Bay for over 33 years. She enjoyed playing bridge with her friends in the same club for over 60 years, knitting caps for the babies at Bellin Hospital, volunteering for the Einstein Project, traveling to Las Vegas and Florida and spending time with family and friends.
Nancy is survived by her son, Mark (Nancy M.) VandenBusch and their son, Scott (Kelly) along with their children, Brady and Aubrey; daughter, Amy (Steve) Gevaert and their daughter, Mallory; brother, Jerry (Lorraine) Quigley and sister-in-law, Nancy L. VandenBusch. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, David (Rose) Quigley and Philip Quigley; sister, Patricia (John) Allen; brother-in-law, Elwood VandenBusch and step-father, John Quimby.
Visitation will be held at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay), Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 4 to 6 PM. A funeral service will follow at 6 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be directed to charities close to Nancy's heart.
Nancy's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Woodside for the care and concern that they showed to Nancy and her family.
