Nancy E. Peterson

Nancy E. Peterson, age 74, passed away on September 21, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born on August 17, 1947 the daughter of the late James and Eleanor (Polcienik) Buerschinger. For many years, when she was younger, Nancy enjoyed being a part of the Tommy Bartlett water show in Minocqua. Her parents had a cottage up north that she spent a lot of time at and got to enjoy nature and the northwoods. Nancy enjoyed animals and had many pets throughout her life. Nancy loved her time as a nurse taking care of sick children before her diagnosis with lupus. She was a good cook, a gardener, and loved going for a ride in her Purple Blazer that has lasted her over 25 years. She always loved having her family over, and getting out with Evan to tractor pulls. Nancy like social media, it kept her close to her family and friends when she couldn't get out to see them.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Mark Peterson of 6 years, three sons: Tom Baudhuin, Charlie Behnke, Jon Behnke; four grandchildren: Heather, Evan, Ayden, and Estella; and one brother, Ron Buerschinger. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Nancy's wishes were to be cremated and a private celebration of life to happen in the future. She was loved by her family and friends and will certainly be missed.
