Nancy L. Baker, 66, Green Bay, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Green Bay on January 18, 1947, to the late Alex & Cis (DeNamur) Baker.
Nancy graduated in 1965 from Madison West High School.
She worked for over twenty years for Procter & Gamble. She later worked for Dr. Gary Miller and Bay Hearing Conservation.
Nancy was vice president and treasurer for Wisconsin Council on Problem Gambling. Her biggest achievement in life was helping others with gambling addictions. Along with the help of other parents and the Wednesday Noon Optimist Club, she founded the first girl's fast pitch softball league in Green Bay.
Nancy enjoyed golfing, reading and spending time with family, friends and her dogs.
Nancy married Terry "Korky" Korfmacher on October 14, 1992, he survives.
Survivors include, her husband; daughters, Nikki (Boucher) Giese, her husband Jerry and Kris (Boucher) O'Connor; grandsons, Blake Giese, Brayden & Kamden O'Connor; brother, Steve Baker; and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 10:00am until 12:30pm on Saturday, June, 22, 2013, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay. A memorial service will be held at 12:30pm on Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
