Nancy A. Rasmussen, 55, Green Bay, passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2014, surrounded by her family.
She was born on September 24, 1958, to the late George & Annabelle (Noffke) Rasmussen.
Nancy worked for Ashwaubenon Public Safety for over 20 years.
She enjoyed photography, remodeling, visiting the family cabin and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include four siblings, Johanne Cavanaugh, Jan (Al) Mutcher, Ed (Vicky) Rasmussen and Dennis (Angel) Rasmussen; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins; aunts, Bernice (Tom) DeLeeuw and Helen Pionek; and her beloved dog, Roxy.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Tom Cavanaugh; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 10:00am until 12:00pm on Saturday, April 5, 2014, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay. A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Oconto Falls at a later date.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and staff at Aurora Baycare Hospital for their care and support during this difficult time.
