Nancy A. Joepeck, age 56, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born March 12, 1959 in Green Bay, daughter of the late Joseph Herman and Mary (Vandenack) Herman and graduated from Green Bay East High School.
Nancy married Robert "Bob" Joepeck, August 29, 1980 and together they shared 34 loving years of marriage and raised two children. She was employed by St. Vincent Hospital as a patient transport for 35 years.
Nancy was an avid golfer and enjoyed cheering on her Green Bay Packers. Nancy was passionate about the music of Elvis Presley and had visited Graceland three times. Nancy helped her sister, Lori, through her cancer treatment and recovery. Nancy most loved the time spent with her family, including attending Melissa and Matt's sporting events, a relaxing pedicure with Melissa and golfing with Bob and Matt. She also enjoyed her pets, the "$1,000 laid back dog", Bella, and sitting with Misty, the lap-cat.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Robert; her children, Melissa and Matt; her mother, Mary Herman; step-son, Eddie Joepeck; brothers: Dave (special friend Terry), Tom, Kenny (Linda) and Billy Herman; sister, Lori (Andy) Baker; god-daughter, Brittany; sisters-in-law: Sandy Joepeck, Bonnie (Steve) Mayefske, Mary Jo (Sergio) Perez and Gail Johnson; special pets, Bella and Misty; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, "Big Joe" Herman; a brother, Jerry Herman and canine companion, Bridget.
Memorial visitation will be held at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, (340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay) on Friday, August 7, 2015 from 3 to 8 PM. A funeral service will follow at 8 PM.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at St. Vincent Hospital for their care of Nancy during her final days, especially all of her coworkers at St. Vincent's.
