Myron L. "Mike" Henquinet

Myron L. "Mike" Henquinet, age 86, of Bellevue, WI, passed away peacefully at his home, Tuesday, February 13, 2024. Born to Walter and Mable (Mallien) Henquinet, June 11, 1937 in Gardner, WI (Door County).

Mike attended Four Corners Grade School and Brussels High School, graduating Class of 1955. He worked as an OTR Truck Driver for Henquinet Trucking, Liebmann Packing, Leicht and Schneider Transport, logging 6 million miles of safe driving during his career. After retiring from the trucking industry, he drove school bus for Laidlaw for many years and drove part time for US Midwest Carriers. He demonstrated an outstanding work ethic that was admired, especially by his children.

Mike married Vicki Lynn Mercer, September 8, 1956 in Brussels and they were blessed with a daughter, Debra. He married JoAnn Lau, and they were blessed with a daughter, Cyndi. He remarried and welcomed a son, Michael with Norma. Later, his son, Steven, with his wife, Karla Becker, completed his family.

Mike enjoyed several hobbies including riding motorcycles and collecting cars for many years. He also loved watching old movies on TV and listening to oldies on the radio. His outgoing personality earned him friendships all over the country. Family and friends were a priority and he made sure they had everything they needed. His greatest joy was being a dad and a grandpa.

Myron is survived by 3 children: Cyndi Mastey, Michael (Renee) Henquinet and Steven (Aleana) Henquinet; 5 grandchildren: Courtney (Travis) Nelson, Kayla Mastey and Hayley Mastey, Gracyn Lindberg and Finley Henquinet; 2 great-grandchildren, Mason Ziewacz and Rylee Nelson; and a brother, Tom (Mary) Henquinet. He is further survived by many friends he made all his life, especially 2 great friends in Debra and Jane.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Debbie, former wife Vicki and former wife JoAnn.

Visitation will be held at St. Philip the Apostle Parish (312 Victoria St., Green Bay, WI), Friday, February 23, 2024 from 10AM to 12 NOON. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12 NOON. Entombment will be in Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.

Mike's family would like to thank the staff at St. Vincent Hospital and Unity Hospice for their care and compassion. They would also like to extend their gratitude to the many family and friends that were part of Mike's life.
