Muriel G. (Makela) Norgren, 90, of DePere WI formerly of Stambaugh, MI passed away December 29, 2020 peacefully at home. Muriel was born in Iron River, MI on January 12, 1930. She married Lawrence I. Norgren in Waukegan, IL on May 7, 1951.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in law, Richard and Jeanne Norgren of DePere; two grandchildren, David (Erin) Norgren and Sheila (Dr. Michael) Halberg, six great grandchildren; one sister, Clara (Makela) Reinhardt; three brothers, Melvin Makela, David Makela, and Kenny Makela.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence in 2011, her parents, one brother Ernest Makela, one sister Mary Ellen (Kemp) Garlick.
In accordance with Muriel's wishes, private services will be held by her family.
