Monika Alfery

Monika Alfery of Green Bay, Wisconsin, passed away on Saturday December 7, 2024.

Monika was born on November 8, 1947 in Furth Germany. She was the daughter of Fredrick and Johanne (Mueller) Alfery. Monika has two other sisters Sigrid Fieschgrund and Sylvia Leibal(Deceased) 

She came to the United States at the age of 28. 

Monika had three children Nancy(Scott) Duquaine, Ian VandenBoom, and Bobbie VandenBoom (deceased) . She had 7 grandchildren, Austin, Chase,Dustin, Brandyn, Stown, Aizja and Raquelle. 

Monika had much love for her niece Sandra (Peter ) Bodenschatz , Godson Stefan Knauf and extra big hugs for her great granddaughter Everleigh Beth. 

Monika spent the early part of her 30’s working at Chilton Metal Products , where she met and made many lifelong friends. 

She had an entrepreneurial side as well and she opened her own successful cleaning business which she owned until her retirement. 

In her spare time she enjoyed traveling with her Daughter Nancy and her granddaughter Aizja Duquaine. 

She loved a good campfire and enjoyed making conversation around them. 

Monika loved a good super club and a good old fashioned to go with it . 

In her later years she loved to hear about the comings and goings of her grandchildren. She was Especially excited that her granddaughter Raquelle announced her engagement to Max. 

Monika dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. She always wanted the very best for them.
