Miyoko Naomi Hikita, 86, entered into eternal life peacefully on January 14, 2024, with family by her side at Odd Fellow Nursing Home in Green Bay, Wisconsin. She was born on August 22, 1937 in the City of Yahata (now Kitakyushu), Japan to Sueo and Nobuko Hikita.
Miyoko became a successful, self-employed Hair Stylist and for over 37 years touched countless lives with her warmth and sense of humor.
Miyoko valued relationships over possessions and above all, she cherished moments spent with her grandchildren. Her life was a testament to her faith in God, she found joy in serving others, volunteering her time and giving to those in need. Her compassion, generosity, humility and nonjudgmental spirit endeared her to all who knew her. Let us honor her life by embracing all the virtues that she embodied.
Miyoko’s legacy lives on through her devoted son, Bill Boelter, beloved daughters, Debbie (Cliff) Tannas, and Leslie (Jeff) De Bauche, cherished grandchildren, Jeremy (Michelle) Beauprey, Ali (Ashley) Khoja, Nadia (Scott) McLaughlin, and Kayla Boelter, as well as great-grandchildren, Landon, Hayden, and Roschelle.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the exceptional staff at Odd Fellow Nursing Home for their unwavering care. May Miyoko's memory continue to inspire and bring comfort to those lives she touched.
