Mildred Brice, 100, left us to be with all her family members on Sunday, April 27, 2014.
She was born on February 19, 1914, to John & Margaret (Schuh) Young.
Milly worked hard to raise her four sons. The last 40 years, her coffee pot was always ready, along with her advice on how to raise a family, and all the answers on what was wrong with the world. God bless her. The Family wants to thank the grand-daughters, who did so much for Milly.
Survivors include her sons, John K. (Ruth) Brice and Lawrence R. Brice; daughters-in-law, Adella Brice and Muriel Brice; 16 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 7 great great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews from the Young and Brice families, and special friends, Judy & Wayne Schaut.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sons, James E. Brice and Bernard J. Brice; daughter-in-law, Claudia Brice; sister, Margaret Young (Sister Fedelis); brothers, Clarence, Lawrence, Norbert and Cliff Young; grandson, John L. Brice; and father of her sons, Ralph Brice.
Visitation will be held from 9:30am until time of the service on Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1224 12th Ave., Green Bay. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Wednesday at the church.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Aurora Baycare Hospital & Aurora VNA for their care.
