Michelle Peters

Michelle A. Peters, 44, left us to go to her heavenly home on March 17, 2016. Michelle was born on November 17, 1971 to Janice Doxtator and Finley Peters Jr. in Green Bay, WI.

She graduated from Green Bay West High School class of 1992. Michelle was employed by the Oneida Bingo and Casino for approximately 12 years as a Bingo floor worker. Michelle then worked as a custodian until she found out she had cancer.

Michelle is survived by a son, Kody James Peters; and a daughter, Miley Elisabeth Peters. She is also survived by her mother, Janice; a sister, Sherena Doxtator of Green Bay; and a brother Sherideane Peters. She is also survived by two aunts, Mildred Doxtator of Green Bay and Debra Vega of Phoenix, AZ; a niece, Amanda Doxtator; nephews, Edward Putnam and Michael Doxtator; great nephews Alistair and Daysen; and many cousins.

Michelle is preceded in death by her grandparents, Edward and Mildred (Gardner) Doxtator, Finley Peters Sr., and Pearl (Denny) Peters; one sister, Wanda (Peters) Heidtman; and nieces Jessica, Amber and baby Heidtman. Also many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 20th from 10 AM - 1 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay. A service will follow at 1 PM in the funeral home. Interment will be in Oneida Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established for Michelle's Children, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
