Michael J. Possley, 75, of Coleman, passed away after a long courageous battle with cancer, on September 14, 2024 at Rennes Health and Rehab Center. He was born on January 31, 1949 to Russell and Marian (Vander Kelen) Possley in Green Bay. Mike worked as a plumber for over 40 years.
Mike along with his son Tony, enjoyed the time they had listening to music, sharing witty remarks back and forth. He enjoyed being up north with his brother Jim and friends, hunting, fishing, and playing cards. Mike had many pets through the years and loved them all. He loved Bucky's cooking and would brag about it all the time, and was an avid Wisconsin sports fan, and when sports weren't on he would repeat all his favorite crime shows. Mike cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren and his great-nephew, Wesley; they were the light of his life. Even up to the end, Mike would ask how the kids are doing, what are they up to and to let them know he loved them very much.
Mike is survived by his loving son, Tony (Kristen) Possley and their children: Harper and Monroe; step-daughter, Kayte (Paul) Campbell and their son, Luke; one brother, Jim (Juelene) Possley, two sisters: Debbie ("Tramp") Moreland and Dianne ("Bucky") Moore, special friend, Barb Lambert, further survived by many nieces, nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mike's wishes are that no services will take place.
Memorials are suggested to Unity Hospice or Rennes Health and Rehab.
The family would like to extend a thank you to Rennes, Unity Hospice and Lakeland Care; especially Gage and Chase, for all their wonderful care, comfort, and support that was given to Mike and the family.
