Michael Marin, 66, of Green Bay, departed this life, surrounded by his family, on July 2, 2024, at St. Vincent Hospital.
Mike was born on April 20, 1958 in Sturgeon Bay, son of the late Wallace and Jacqueline (Herlache) Marin. He was a graduate of Green Bay West High School class of 1976. Mike was a mechanic and a handyman, at various companies. His last career was with Great Outdoors Garage Doors. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, motorcycling, going up north with the family, playing games with his family, especially ding ding, cooking, and making people laugh. He treasured the time he spent with his family and friends.
Mike is survived by his wife, Georgie "Grandma" of 30 years, three daughters, 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, five siblings: Sue Johnson, Steve (Paulette) Marin, Roger Marin, Linda (Lonnie) Whiting, and Jean (Keith) Westergaard: six brothers-and sisters- in-law: "Squirrel" (Wayne) Beyer, Debbie (Gary) Faulkender, Steven Rouse, Margie Clark, David Rouse, and Larry Barnett. Mike is further survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. He was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Marin, and brothers-in-law, Donald Rouse and Milton Johnson.
The family is planning a Celebration of Life on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Bayshore County Park, 5637 Sturgeon Bay Road, New Franken, Wisconsin from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
