Michael E. Lund

Michael Lund, age 77, of Green Bay, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2025. He was born in Rhinelander, WI, July 12, 1947, son of the late Merritt and Dorothy (Dickey) Lund and was a graduate of Monona Grove High School, Class of 1965.

Michael enlisted in the US Navy in 1967 and proudly served his country until his honorable discharge. After his military service, Michael resided in New York for over a decade. Michael was an avid racing and NASCAR fan and stock car driver. Upon his return to Wisconsin, Michael was a truck driver for many years. Michael was the owner/operator of Howard Shuttle.

Michael was a talented artist and enjoyed woodworking. He loved to watch old movies and cheer on the Packers. He looked forward to family conversations on Saturday mornings, where he video chatted with his 5 brothers and sisters. 

As a last act of love for others, Michael gave the gift of life and was an organ donor.

Michael is survived by his siblings: Philip (Karen Sloey) Lund, Jean (Ken) Kantor, Jane (the late Cory) Severson, Tim (Sandy) Lund and Dottie Pacheco and his 2 beloved canine companions, Lily and Panda. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Merritt Lund III "Kippy".

Private services will be held by Michael's family at a later date.
