Mike Kepner, 60, of Pulaski, Wisconsin passed away suddenly on Friday, March 29, 2024 while at home with friends. He was born on March 28, 1964 to Glen W. Kepner and Sharon M. (Payne Kepner) Faulkner. He was predeceased by two of his siblings; Randal Dunsmoor and Virginia Kepner; his mother’s late husband, Hadley Faulkner; and his beloved German Shepherd, Ivan.
Mike grew up in DePere, Wisconsin with his many siblings. He attended West DePere High School and earned his GED, after which he undertook a life-long career as a long-haul truck driver. Mike enjoyed the freedom of being out on the road – accompanied by one of his beloved German Shepherds, first Ivan and then Mariah. He enjoyed seeing the vastness of this country that he loved and only retired this past year due to his health.
When not on the road, Mike liked to spend time with family and friends. He also enjoyed Western novels and was proud of his extensive coin collection. His other passion was cars, or trucks, and he usually had several and any given time, “because there are times when you need a truck and times when you just want to drive a fast car”.
Mike leaves behind his Mother, Sharon Faulkner and her husband, Karl Bongers, and his Father and Stepmother, Glen and Susan (Stram) Kepner and his siblings; Marcia Dunsmoor, Peter Dunsmoor and his wife Suzanne (Budzik), Rasco Dunsmoor and his partner Jason Homa, Janet (Kepner) and her husband Joseph Yskes, Patricia (Kepner) and her husband David Basso, Linda Kepner, Samanatha Kepner-Rowan and her wife Heather Richardson-Rowan, Joy (Kepner) and her husband Randy Boehme, Sarah (Kepner) Young, and Elizabeth (Kepner) and her husband Chad Pierce; as well his many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
