Michael M. Gilson passed away June 29, 2022 after battling cancer for several years.
Mike was born November 8, 1955, in Green Bay to Irene and Merle Gilson. He graduated from Southwest High School in 1974 then proudly served his country by enlisting in the Marine Corps. He was stationed in California and Hawaii.
Mike loved riding his Harley and enjoyed thunderstorms. Mike liked meeting new people and looked forward to breakfasts with his high school buddies.
Over the years, Mike worked a variety of jobs, including in shipping and receiving at several local companies.
Predeceased by parents Merle "Gilley" and Irene Gilson, parents-in-law Gene and Kathy Summerfield.
Survived by wife Cheryl and daughter Stephanie who he loved very much, stepsons Greg Case (Heidi) and Matt Case (Amanda), five step-grandchildren (Evan, Liana, Wyatt, Ellery and Sawyer). Further survived by sisters Mary Corbisier (Greg), Sharon Naniot, Terry Huff (Brian), Laurie Gilson; stepmother Kathy Gilson, aunts and uncles, nephews and nieces.
