Michael Lee Diring, 82, of Ashwaubenon, passed away on May 18, 2024 at Woodside Lutheran Home after a long battle with Kidney Cancer and dementia. He was born on October 19, 1941 to William and Florence (Baeb) Diring in Green Bay. Right after high school Michael joined the Army National Guard for 6 years. On April 30, 1966, he married Nancy L. Lewis. Michael worked as a field service engineer for various companies, retiring in 2007. He was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish. Michael was an avid Wisconsin sports fan, going to Packers games, and watching the Badgers, and Brewers. Michael always enjoyed going to all his children's sporting events through the years and recently his grandchildren's. He will always be known having a big smile on his face.
Michael is survived by his loving Wife, Nancy of 58 years, three children: Eric (Karen) Diring, Todd (Tina) Diring, and Michelle (John) Alberts; 6 grandchildren: Rebekah (Jason) Stephens, Madison Diring, Austin, Savannah, and Jaxon Diring, and Emalee Alberts; four sisters-in-law: Rosie Diring, Jan (Dave) Evras, Peg Stofferan, and Mary Greene; one brother-in-law, Donnie (Denise) Lewis; and further survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 6 siblings.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2024, from 9:30 am until 11:30 am at Nativity of Our Lord Parish, 2270 S. Oneida Street; with Mass at 11:30 am. Private inurnment will take place in the Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
