Michael J. Carrell, 25, of Green Bay, passed away suddenly on Christmas Eve and his family is saddened and shaken by his sudden loss.

Michael was born on November 3, 1995 in Green Bay, son of Jamie Wallace and the late Chad J. Zimmerman, step-son of Chris S. Carrell. He was a graduate of East De Pere High School. After high school he worked for KPC Construction where he made many lifelong friends. He later became a Certified Electrician and worked for Plug Light Bulb Electrical Services. In his spare time he enjoyed hiking, camping and traveled everywhere with his dog and best friend, Kalua. Mike is remembered as a fun, outgoing, and supportive person, as remembered by his many friends. Everybody loved Michael. He had a great sense of humor, a unique laugh and smile. Michael had a strong passion for fishing, hunting, and frequently visited many State Parks. He had a love for Stitch, Little Foot, and Scooby Doo. The thing he enjoyed the most was the time he cherished with his family and friends.

He is survived by his mom Jamie Wallace, Step-Father, Chris Carrell, 3 siblings: Brianna, Kaylee, and Cole Carrell. He also leaves his grandparents: Jim and Chryl Wallace and Dale and Linda Zimmerman. Mike also leaves his nephew, Brody Frisbie, along with several aunts and uncles: Caylynn (Daniel) Wallace-Marcelle, Aprille (Jeremy) Josephs, Tammy (Jeremy) Walden, Darrell (Andi) Zimmerman, Matt (Ann) Carrell, and Carey (Dave) Carrell, along with numerous cousins and extended family. Mike leaves special friends: Justin Phillips, Sean Finley, Matthew Timler, Jackson Frisbie, Nathan Kuemmel, Bryce Berg, Trent VanPay and John Bougneit. Mike is preceded in death by a sister, Caitlyn Carrell, grandparents: James and Cynthia Carrell and best friend Kenny Wertel.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 30th from 4 - 6 PM at Newcomer - Green Bay Chapel, 340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay. Funeral Services will be held privately at St. Bernard's Church, by the family. Those attending the service are asked to wear face coverings in accordance with the State of Wisconsin's mandate and exercise discretion with social distancing.
