Merry J. Trapp

Merry Jean Trapp, 86, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025 at Edenbrook Green Bay. She was born on December 25, 1938 to Andrew and Edna (McMackin) Trapp in Milwaukee, WI. 

Merry graduated from Clintonville High School and spent one year studying clerical at Milwaukee Vocational School. She worked at Magneto Corporation as an Inventory Control Tech in Milwaukee, as well as a file clerk for Aid Associates in Appleton. 

Merry was a certified tailor for over 50 years. She was also a volunteer at Santa Maria Nursing Home in Green Bay. Merry had many hobbies; her favorites were dancing, sewing and knitting, reading, and number search puzzles. For 25 years, Merry had a special friend, Harry Przybelski, who passed away in 2001. Merry and Harry loved to travel; some of their favorite places were: Mackinac Island, Washington Island, Colorado Pikes Peak, Holland, Michigan for the tulip festival and Crivitz, WI for a train ride. Merry even traveled to Niagara Falls on the ship S.S. North America.

Merry is survived by her sister, Ellen (Ron) Haines, her niece, Andrea Haines, and her nephew, Andy Haines.

Merry is preceded in death by her parents and her good friend, Harry Przybelski.

Visitation will take place on Monday, February 10, 2025 from 10:00 am - 10:30 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (340 S. Monroe Ave, Green Bay, WI 54301). A Funeral Ceremony will follow immediately after at 10:30 am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the family.
