Melissa L. Stoeger

Melissa Lea Stoeger "Missy," 49, of Sturgeon Bay, WI, passed away August 4, 2014, at her home with her loving family at her side. Born on July 16, 1965, in Sturgeon Bay, Melissa is the daughter of Nancy and Charles Lautenbach.

She was united in marriage to Charles Stoeger in 1985. Melissa loved the country, and spent many happy days farming and raising cattle. She loved being with her friends and family, helping others and she always had the most beautiful garden – she certainly had a green thumb!

Melissa will now be reunited with her mother Nancy, aunt Collen as well as many pets that she loved and treated as family.

Survivors will include her husband Charles, son Jeffery, daughter Samantha, father Charles, and brothers Peter, Louis and Thomas.

Missy lived her life with dignity, little regret and no apologies. Free now from the limits of her illness, she leaves us lonesome for her wit and graciousness. She will be forever missed and lovingly remembered as the gentle soul that she was.

A celebration of her life will be held at the Mill Supper Club on August 16, 2014 from 11 a.m until 3 p.m.
