MaryJane Charlier, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Jack and Engrid Meng Unity Hospice Home. She was born on May 13, 1934 in Green Bay the daughter of the late Jeremiah and Charlotte (Baldwin) Rhoades. MaryJane was united in marriage on February 7, 1953 to the late Joseph Charlier, their marriage was blessed with six children. She loved the time spent at home raising her family and always making sure there was something to eat. They built a family cabin up north and enjoyed going boating and being outdoors. MaryJane was an avid gardener, flowers and vegetables; she loved Elvis and was his biggest fan. She had a special bond with her great-great-granddaughter Kora, and she treasured the time that she spend with all the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
MaryJane is survived by her six children: Margaret Myers, Joseph Charlier, Jean (Russ) Besaw, Shirley (Jack) Besaw, Tom (Kim) Charlier, and Wendy Charlier; 20 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, one sister, Nancy (Carroll) Anderson, and further survived by many relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joseph, daughter-in-law, Tina Charlier, son-in-law, Jeff Myers, and 11 brothers and sisters.
Friends and family may visit at Newcomer Chapel, 340 S. Monroe Ave on Friday, October 1, 2021 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm with funeral service at 4:00 pm. Private entombment will take place at Fort Howard Memorial Park.
