Mary Zingler, 88, from Zephyrhills, FL and Amberg, WI, will be spending Christmas with Jesus this year. She passed away Saturday afternoon, December 19, 2020, at Bornemann's Nursing Home in Green Bay, WI.
She was the third child born to William F. Panure and Henrietta B. (Buerschinger), on June 22, 1932.
Mary was fortunate to spend 27 winters in Zephyrhills, Florida at Casa Del Sol and truly looked forward to being there during the winter months.
She was married to Kenneth A. Zingler on November 11, 1950, at S.S. Peter & Paul Church. They jointly owned and operated the Bay View Beer Market until their retirement in 1970. After her retirement she attended NWTC and received a Dental Assistant certificate and worked for various dental labs in Green Bay. Mary and Ken built and operated the Pleasant View Campground in Amberg, WI until 2018, when after a serious fall was confined to Bornemann's.
She is survived by 8 children: Lee Zingler (Green Bay), Chris Zingler & Sally Masters (Appleton, WI), Steven and Dawna Zingler (Green Bay), Mark and Joan Zingler (Elcho, WI), Art and Becky (Treptow) (Green Bay), Mary Callan (Marco Island, FL), Richard Zingler (Savannah, GA), Kim and Louie Kohlbeck (Green Bay, WI and Texas). Also included are 17 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren, and a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Lisa Zingler (Green Bay), plus many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth, her parents, William and Henrietta Panure, in-laws, Arthur and Dorothy Zingler, brothers, sister, and brother-in-law, Richard and Betty Panure, William and Betty Panure, Barbara and John Johnson; sister-in-law, Dorothy Herlache-Gay and Leland Herlache and David Gay, brother-in-law, William Zingler. Also, a son-in-law, James Callan, a grandson, Peter Zingler and Calvin Krueger who was also a part of the family.
Due to COVID-19, only the immediate family will be allowed for a brief memorial service at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Social distancing and facemasks are required to be worn.
There will be a celebration of Mary's life at a later date.
