Mary Ann Weiner went home to heaven on Tuesday, June 13, 2023. She was born on January 25, 1937 to Valentine and Anna Hilby. Living on a farm in rural Coon Valley with her family is most likely the reason for her love of gardening.
Mary married her love, Paul on September 29, 1956. She was a devoted wife and mother. Together, they raised four children. It was in February 1977, they moved to Green Bay after living many years in Janesville, WI.
Mary had simple tastes and a giving heart. Some of her greatest accomplishments include: starting a BINGO fundraiser, spearheaded a hot lunch program, Girl Scout Leader, Red Cross donor, volunteered at Salvation Army, Bellin Hospital and made countless donations to St. John's Homeless Shelter. She finished her working career at Green Bay Area Public School District. After retiring, she enjoyed volunteer work, gardening, knitting, sewing and spending time with family and friends.
Mary is survived by her husband, Paul; children: Alice (Rory) McCoy, Alan "Al" (Tami) Weiner, Karen (Al) Brice, Janet Weiner; 7 grandchildren; Jacob (Ashley) Weiner, Lucas (Allison) Weiner, Pamela (Michael) Geocaris, Jennifer (Adam) Vander Zanden, Brian (Kacey) McCoy, Mike (Jacki) Brice, Eric (Meredith) McCoy; 10 great-grandchildren and a great-grand son on the way; her brothers, George Hilby, Walter (Mae) Hilby, David (Polly) Hilby, Ken (Nancy) Hilby; sisters-in-laws: Gloria (John) Habhegger, Sharon Weiner; brother-in-law Charles Larson.
