Mary Ellen "Ellie" Sanders, 80, of Kaukauna, beloved wife of the late Daniel F. Sanders, went to be in Heaven with the Angels and her husband on Friday, August 31, 2018 with her family at her side.
Ellie was born on October 29, 1937 in Little Chute, WI.
She is survived by her children: Cindy (Craig) Verheyden, Carlene (Ron) Gruenstern, and Dan Sanders. She also leaves her beloved grandchildren: Sarah (Brandin) Collins, Derreck (Rebecca Laabs) Gruenstern, Nicole (Randall) Gretzinger, and Marcus Gruenstern. Ellie also leaves her great grandchildren: Finn, Kameron, Sawyer, Ryker, and Aubrey, in addition to her very special God Daughter, Natalee (Joe) West and her cat Mia. She is survived by brothers, sisters, and numerous extended family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 8th from 3 PM - 5 PM at Newcomer - Green Bay Chapel, 340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay. A prayer service will follow at 5 PM in the funeral home. Entombment will be private at Allouez Catholic Mausoleum. Feel free to bring a memory or memento to share, there will be a box available that will be placed with her in her crypt.
