Mary Rae Morella, age 74, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully, Monday, October 10, 2022 at St. Clare Hospital, Oconto Falls, surrounded by her loving family. She is at peace after a 6 month illness. She was born January 1, 1948, daughter of the late Ray and Esther (Cravillion) Engles and was a graduate of St. Joseph Academy, Green Bay.
Mary met Oliver Morella in 1966. It was love at first sight! The couple was married in 1969 and shared 53 loving years together as husband and wife. Mary was employed by Proctor & Gamble, where she held various positions.
Mary was a talented cook and loved making delicious meals and treats for family and friends. She enjoyed beating Oliver at Cribbage every morning. Mary and Oliver both had a passion for classic cars and attended car shows often. They also enjoyed trips together on their Harley Davidson motorcycle. Mary loved to be outside and enjoyed fishing and taking trips to try different fishing spots. She loved her canine companions, especially Sasha and Buster. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Mary is survived by her husband, Oliver; 3 daughters: Tina Schlueter, Lisa Morella and Sheena (Xavier Purnell) Morella and 17 grandchildren: Phil, Nick, Abe, Benjamin, Cyril, Sebastian, Rose, Lydia, Claire, Bernie, Rayven, Devin, Camron, Xiaire, Xavier, Tyler and Hunter.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Sloan.
Private services will be held by Mary's family.
