Mary Lou Lemerond

January 6, 1937 — August 12, 2022

MaryLou Lemerond, age 85, of Green Bay, passed away Friday, August 12, 2022, after a long battle with MDS. She was born in Green Bay, January 6, 1937, daughter of the late Symphonian A. and Elizabeth P. (Bergers) Schaut.

MaryLou graduated from Green Bay West High School. She married MSGT Francis Roy Lemerond, December 31, 1953 and shared 61 years together, raising their 7 children: David (Lynn) Lemerond, Mike (Joy) Lemerond, Daniel Lemerond, Kathy (John) Jansen, Mary (Daniel) Zelzer, Mark (Jennifer) Lemerond, Sueann Lemerond and Little Richard, who passed away at birth; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.

Mary lived her life as a proud military wife. Her husband, Francis "Lem" served 23 years in the Marine Corps. After raising her children, Mary went to work in the nursing home field, which allowed her to continue to care for people, which she loved. She loved to read and always has at least 2 books she was actively reading at a time. She said she could go anywhere in the world with a book!

Mary has been reunited with her husband, her parents, Symphorian "Simmy" and Elizabeth "Betty" Schaut, her only sibling, Richard "Dicky" Schaut and her infant son, Little Richard Francis Lemerond.

A private service will be held by Mary's family at a later date. To leave an online condolence for the family, please visit www.NewcomerGreenBay.com.
