Jesus stretched out his arms and took me home, Friday, March 25, 2022 after a courageous battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis.
My life was my family, 5 beautiful daughters: Wendy (Kevin Umentum) Sobiesczyk, Lisa (Gary) Pochron, Cheryl (Buck) Udell, Cathy (John) Swelle, Lana Sobiesczyk (deceased) and my stepson, Michael (Pam) Kraay.
I then went to work for Prange's and worked my way up to being a buyer's assistant. Then I accepted a position with Oneida Printing as office manager, until I retired.
June 21, 1997 I married my true love Joie Kraay and we enjoyed years of travel in various vacation destinations, especially Jamaica, our favorite place. During the Brett Favre era, we followed the Packers to all of the games in many different cities, where we enjoyed their wins and fun times. I was an avid bowler for many years. I had high scoring years where I had an average of 179 and had 9 strikes in a row and almost a 300 game.
Along with my daughters, other surviving family members are my siblings: Janet Herwald, Mike (Judy) Stowe, Patricia (Jim) Seiler, Sue Toye, Lauri Palet and sister-in-law, Carolyn Stowe. My 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren. Further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Now I will be united with my family members that have journeyed before me: my daughter, Lana Sobiesczyk; mom and dad, Maggie & Jack Stowe and other loved family members.
Visitation will be held at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, WI), Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 2 to 4 PM. A memorial service will follow at 4 PM.
A special thank you goes out to our loving grandson, Tyler, and two very special friends, Bonnie & Vicente Pabloblanco for all their help. Another special thanks to my sisters, Sue and Janet for all of their love and care they gave. Furthermore, thank you to Heartland Hospice for all their care and Father Paul DeMuth for the time he spent with me.
Please spend this time together enjoying stories that bring joyous laughter.
I love you all.
