Mary E. Bitters, age 64, of Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly at home, Saturday, August 15, 2015 after a courageous 8 year battle with cancer. She was born June 25, 1951 in Green Bay, daughter of the late Sylvester and Delphine (Parker) Daul.
Mary graduated from Green Bay East High School and continued her schooling at NWTC where she earned a degree in accounting. Mary held accounting positions with various companies throughout her career. She was an active member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, attending weekly Mass.
She married the love of her life, Gary, May 25, 1985 and together they shared 30 loving years of marriage. Mary and Gary enjoyed spending much of their time together, including times at Eagle River and most of all, times with family and friends. Mary's grandchildren were most dear to her heart. She was an avid skier and Packer fan. Mary adored her pet Westies, especially Jackson.
Mary is survived by her husband, Gary; daughter, Angie (Matt) May of Green Bay; grandchildren, Nathan and Nicholas May; step-daughters, Sherri Bitters and Kelly (Mark) Kubichek, both of Green Bay; step-grandchildren, Keely and Camren Kubichek; brother-in-law, Doug (Linda) Bitters; and sisters-in-law: Pat Skogg, Jackie (Dave) Cartwright and Michelle (Kevin) Knudson.
She was preceded in death by her brother, John "Jack" Daul.
Friends and relatives may call at the ST. ELIZABETH ANN SETON PARISH, (2771 Oakwood Dr., Green Bay) on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 from 1:30 to 4 PM. A memorial service will follow at 4 PM.
