Mary A. Zaracki
March 21, 1953 — January 18, 2016
Mary A. Zaracki, age 62, of Rhinelander, passed away Monday, January 18, 2016 after a brief illness. She was born March 21, 1953 in Green Bay, daughter of the late Peter and Verne "Toots" (Capelle) Reimer and attended Green Bay West High School.
Mary was married to Dale Walton, Sr. and together they had 3 sons. Later in life, Mary met Thomas Zaracki in an elevator in Chicago, IL and they were married in the very same elevator, October 4, 1992. Together they shared 19 years of marriage before Tom passed away in 2011. Mary's passion was animals. She started with 2 parakeets and that transformed into her ownership of Land, Sea & Air Pet Shop in Green Bay. Mary enjoyed spending time in the north woods, walking and spending time with her beloved dogs.
Mary is survived by her 3 sons: Dale (Jenny) Walton, Jr. of Seymour, Peter (Jody) Walton and Larry Walton, both of Green Bay; 5 grandchildren: Trevor, Brianna, Nicholas, Abby and Elizabeth; sister, Donna (Richard) Paulick of Green Bay; nephew, Rick (Sue) Paulick; niece, Julie (Rob) Hodges and two great-nieces, Jessica and Mahri.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Tyler Walton.
Friends and relatives may call at the NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, (340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay) on Friday, January 22, 2016 from 5 to 7 PM.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in Mary's name.
Mary's family would like to thank all of the wonderful neighbors and friends in Rhinelander that helped her out over the years.
