Marvin J. Delvaux, 85 of Green Bay, beloved husband of Janice (Whiting) Delvaux passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021.

Marvin was born on April 17, 1936 in Green Bay son of the late Goldie and Irene (Tasquin) Delvaux. He lived most of his early years in Green Bay Wisconsin, after graduating from Green Bay East High School he enlisted in the U.S. Army. When he returned from his tour of duty he married Janice on August 2, 1958. Raising their young family; they were always there for any one who needed a place to come over and just hang out or for an impromptu game of cards. The door was always open. They enjoyed bowling, golfing and traveling with family and friends.

In 1979 Marvin and Janice took the bold step of leaving Green Bay and bought a one bedroom home on ten lovely acres in Abrams where many wonderful family events took place where they lived until well after Marv retired from Schreiber Cheese.

In later years Marvin was a member of the men's club and during his recovery joined the folks at the 218 where he met his good buddy Dick Leonard and made many friends. Marvin truly loved being at the 218.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years Janice, and three children: Lisa (Mark) Wochenske, Ann Clark, and Michael (Nancy) Delvaux. He also leaves five grandchildren: Lauren Tamura, Matthew Clark, Michael Clark, Tyler Delvaux, and Ashley Krzewina and 9 great grandchildren: Talan, Aden, Madison, Layla, Paul, Christopher, Connor, Amelia, and Watson. He also leaves a brother Cletus (Loretta) Delvaux along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Marvin is preceded in death by a son-in-law, Timothy Clark.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 13th from 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM at Newcomer Cremations Funerals & Receptions, 340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay. A service celebrating Marvin's life will follow at 11:30 AM in the funeral home. Entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum. Memorial contributions may be directed the to the 218, 218 Oneida Street, Green Bay, WI 54303.
