Marri Monie, age 80, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully, Thursday, October 13, 2022, with family members by her side. She was born January 25, 1942 to the late Joseph and Josephine (Delaruelle) Lund.
Marri married Robert Cieslewicz in 1959 and they were blessed with 3 children: Thomas, Ana and Sally. Later in her life, she met Steve Compton and spent many happy years with him, fishing and going to nursing homes to sing for the residents. She worked for Proctor & Gamble for many years. Marri was always up for a good conversation and a cup of coffee. She had a quick wit and good sense of humor.
She had 5 grandsons that she adored, as well as 3 great-grandchildren. Marri was happiest when she was with her family, especially during the holidays.
Marri is survived by her 3 children: Thomas (Joan) Cieslewicz, Ana (Bill) Schramm and Sally (Richard Bunker) Monie; 5 grandchildren: Kyle, Kaleb and Kole Cieslewicz and Tyler DeWitt and Patrick Franklin and 3 great-grandchildren: Jacob, Faith and Anna Cieslewicz. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Marri's life will be held by her family at a later date.
