Mark J. DeWitt, age 67, of Suamico, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, July 22, 2023 at his home, with family at his side. He was born January 25, 1956 in Green Bay, son of the late Joseph and Marion (Malcore) DeWitt and was a graduate of Bay Port High School, Class of 1975.
Mark was a proud member of the Local #400 Pipefitters Union.
Mark was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He grew up on the Suamico River/Bay of Green Bay, where he learned to boat, water ski and fish. His other passion was riding his Harley with the love of his life, Laurie. Mark and Laurie shared many adventures in their 14 years together.
Mark is survived by his fiancée, Laurie Jarvey; his 3 daughters: Rachel (Ed) Borowitz, Andrea (Mike) Ayres and Danielle (Jerrel) Matthews; Laurie's daughters, Cortney (Ethan) Jarvey and Kiara (Logan) Jarvey; Laurie's Mom, Mary Campbell; 3 granddaughters: Phoebe Elizabeth Ayres, Clara Jo Borowitz and Baby M, arriving in September and 4 siblings: Scott (Carla) DeWitt, Mike (Kathy) DeWitt, Kim (Jay) DeWitt and Julie (Tom) Mecklenburg. He is further survived by his faithful canine companion, Meeah, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Mark's life will be held by his family, Saturday, August 12, 2023 at the Avenue Bar, 1745 Velp Ave Green Bay, WI 54303, starting at 1 PM.
