Marjorie Theresa Wallenfang, 88, of Green Bay went to be in the arms of Jesus on Thursday, June 17, 2021. She was born on December 4, 1932 to the late Francis and Anna (Kowalczyk) Mikulsky in the Town of Eaton on her family farm.
Marjorie is a graduate of East High School, class of 1949. At 17 years old, Marjorie moved to Green Bay, WI where she went on to work for the Brown County Register of Deeds department. While in Green Bay, she met her loving husband Robert Wallenfang. On July 30, 1960 they married at the Cathedral of St. Francis in Green Bay. After starting her career and life with Robert, she took off of work for 14 years to help raise their three daughters: Karen, Anne and Susan.
After her retirement in 1997, she and Bob enjoyed traveling together and with their friends. Marjorie enjoyed volunteering at Love Life Ministries and St. Vincent de Paul, attending her grandchildren's sporting events, gardening, and living near the Green Bay Packer Stadium. Marjorie was a lifetime member of St. Joseph Parish in Green Bay where she met many of her lifelong friends.
Marjorie is survived by her three daughters: Karen (Todd) Mielke of Green Bay, WI., Anne (Mike) Tanski of Woodbury, MN., and Susan (John Reynders) Jonas of Pulaski, WI.; nine grandchildren: Allison, Valerie, Jacqueline, Jason, Nicole, Blair, Zachary, Emma, and Gabrielle; two sisters: Arlene Hasseler and Beatrice (Larry) Moens; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Robert, infant grandson Marty Tanski, two sisters: Marion (Fred) Pirozzoli and Theresa (Peter) Maldonado; one brother Richard (Jean) Mikulsky; brother-in-law Merlin (Cleo) Wallenfang.
Visitation for Marjorie will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church (1224 12th Ave., Green Bay, WI 54304) from 9:00AM - 11:00AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00AM with Fr. Armando Red officiating. Entombment will be held in Allouez Catholic Cemetery & Chapel Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted for Love Life Ministries and JDRF in Marjorie's memory.
