Marjorie "Marge" Geurts, 82, of Green Bay, WI., passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, June 25, 2021. She was born on March 2, 1939 to the late Norbert and Mary (Mann) Vohwinkel in Green Bay.
After graduating from high school, Marge went on to marry Roger Geurts. Together they raised their three children and foster son: Pauline, Brian, Arnold and Chuck.
Marge had many different jobs and held different positions throughout her life however; the most rewarding job Marge found was that of an LPN. She received her LPN Certificate after retiring in 2001 from her previous job. She was a people person and found great comfort in taking care of her patients.
Marge enjoyed spending time with her friends, whether it was on a one-day bus trip or playing cards. She also enjoyed bowling on her bowling league, reading and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Marge is survived by her children: Pauline Geurts, Arnold (Terry) Geurts and Chuck Mueller; seven grandchildren: Amanda Laverenz, Sonya (Dean) Anderson, Brandi (Logan) Blahnik, Dustyn (Maria) Blahnik, Mariah Blahnik, Dylan Blahnik and Jacob Geurts. She is further survived by many great-grandchildren; two brothers: Norbert (Diane) Vohwinkel and Steve (Rose) Vohwinkel and her sister Lori Butt. Along with her parents, Marge is preceded in death by her son Brian Geurts, former husband Roger Geurts; her brother Chris Vohwinkel and her two sisters: Lee Merceri and Bonnie Peterson; great-grandson baby Dayton and former in-laws Ray and Pat Van Den Heuvel.
Visitation for Marge will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Newcomer- Green Bay Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, WI 54301) from 10:00AM- 12:00PM. A Prayer Service will follow at 12:00PM.
