Marion Sylvia Schultz, 89, of Oconto, passed away on November 20, 2023 at Alpha Senior Concepts. She was born on February 1, 1934 to Louis and Laura (Naze) LeFevre in Fish Creek, WI. Marion went to West High School in Green Bay in 1952. She served in the military during the Korean War in 1953 as part of the Women's Army Corp (WAC). She married Donald Schultz on December 22, 1964.
Marion and Don loved traveling, visiting numerous states, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery that God had to offer. They also enjoyed spending time together fishing, camping, hunting and the outdoors. Marion and Don spent several winters as snowbirds in Southern Alabama before coming back to Wisconsin to be with family. They settled in Oconto and helped managed Holtwood Campground and County Park II for a few years. Marion loved fishing down at the breakwater in Oconto. Marion was also the town historian for the Oconto American Legion Post #74. She also became the first woman post commander in Oconto County. Marion was very proud to have served in the Army and it showed by the dedication to the Legion and all they stood for.
