Marilyn I. Seibert, of Green Bay, died peacefully in her sleep at the age of 94 on April 12, 2024. Marilyn will be most remembered for her wit, humor, and generous heart. She was born on December 30, 1929 to in Kingsford, MI; Marilyn was raised lovingly by her father and step mother, Gustave and Sophia (Knutson) Maedke. As a young woman, she moved to Green Bay and met her husband, Deane Seibert. They were married on March 15, 1952. As a young family Deane and Marilyn enjoyed bringing their four boys to Runkle Lake, MI. They often traveled as a family site seeing throughout the United States. Marilyn's favorite memories were those spent at family reunions with extended family. Marilyn worked at the Spot Supper Club, Pechman Studio, and retired from the YMCA. In her later years, she enjoyed decorating her home for various holidays, puzzles, reading, playing cards, or having a cup of coffee with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Deane Newton Seibert, son, Randal K. Seibert, she is now reunited with her beloved parents, siblings, and other cherished loved ones who have gone before her.
Marilyn is survived by her loving sons: Scott D. (Nancy) Seibert, Steven J. (friend, Mary Pat) Seibert; and Richard R. (Carrie) Seibert; her nine grandchildren: Nikki (Chris) Thompson, Eric (fiancée Catherine) Seibert, Jeff (Sarah) Seibert, Jerrad Seibert, Jessica Seibert, Blair Seibert, Heather (Brandon) Lensmire, Nicholas Seibert, and James (Chelsea) Seibert; and 10 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 19, 2024, 9:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 340 S. Monroe Ave. Green Bay with funeral services following at 11:00 am with Pastor Larry Lange officiating. Private interment will take place at the Nicolet Memorial Gardens.
