Marie Emma (Jacobson) Wucherer, 91, passed peacefully and entered heaven with her husband, Joe, on Saturday, November, 30, 2013. She was born October 11, 1922, in Thorp, Wisconsin to the late Elery and Sarah (Crowley) Jacobson. Marie was a loving, wife, mother, sister grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Marie and Joe loved family time at the cottage, vacations, and family celebrations. Marie was an avid reader who could read one book a day! She enjoyed her times golfing, shopping, and making her famous Christmas cookies for the annual family Christmas Eve.
Marie is survived by her children: Joe (JoAnn) Wucherer, Jim (special friend, Joanne) Wucherer, Sally (Mike) Kubiak, and Beth (Mike) Kington; grandchildren, Steven (Stacy), David (Stefanie), J.R. (Hillary), Jackie, Ryan (Shelley), Chad (Jane), Todd (Shaina), Mindy (Ron), Jason (Andrea), Jordan, David, and Kassi; great-grandchildren, Ben, Jackson, Ella, Madisen, Ben, Ayden, Emma, Keira, Layne and Alyssa; brother, Tom Jacobson (Sherry); sister, Iris Gallett; sister-in-law, Louise Wojczak; and loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; grandson, Paul; 2 sisters, Betty and Toddy; and sister-in-law, Mary (Larry) Graziano.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6, 2013, at Ss. Edward & Isadore Parish, 3667 Flintville Rd., Suamico, from 9:30 until 10:45am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the church on Friday at 11:00pm, with Rev. David Hoffman officiating. There will be a private burial at Highland Memorial Park, New Berlin.
The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice Care, the staff at Longview Terrace II, and Dr. Lawrence Colassacco who showed wonderful kindness and compassion for Marie in her later years.
