Marie Besaw

Marie Emma Besaw, 91, Crivitz, formerly Green Bay, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 21, 2012. She was born January 21, 1921 in Green Bay to the late Chester and Mae (Lambert) Goffard. Marie married Henry R. Besaw they enjoyed over 40 years of marriage together before Henry passed away on April 7, 1980. She enjoyed sewing and cooking, but most of all spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-children.

Marie is survived by 3 children: Jean Marie, Los Angeles, CA; Henry "Butch" (Paula) Besaw, Yuma, AZ; and Chet (Tracey) Besaw, Crivitz; 3 grandchildren: Shannon and Steven Besaw and Jessica Bliskey; 5 great-grandchildren: Phillip, Nicholas, Madison, Devihnn, and Emma; and great-great-grandson, Easton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry "Hank"; infant daughter, Mary Kay; and 2 sisters, Millie (Orville) Deno and Ruth (Joe) Froelich.

Family and friends may call Saturday, April 28, 2012, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, from Noon until the time of service at 2:00pm with Rev. Lin Wittman officiating. Entombment will be in Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
