Marian F. Jauss

Marian F. Jauss, age 98, of De Pere, Wisconsin passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2017. She was born in Trenton, New Jersey on March 17, 1918 to the late Fred and Mabel(Logan) Jauss. After graduating from Trenton Central High School in 1936, she began a long successful career in fashion retailing. Her career brought her from Pennsylvania to Wisconsin in 1970 to work for the H.C. Prange Co., whom she retired with in 1986.

Marian was a proud and enthusiastic member of St. Anne Episcopal Church in De Pere. She served on the vestry and was a past Senior Warden. Marian enjoyed many things, but most of all she enjoyed giving a helping hand to those who needed it most.

Marian is survived by a Sister-in-law, Ruth Jauss; 7 nieces and nephews: Fred Jauss III, Karen Jauss Tibbitts, Ruthann Jauss, Richard Jauss, M. Lynne Lalendorf, Jack Helfrich and Fred Daily; 12 grand nieces and nephews; Friends James and Laurel Kime with their daughters Kristin Kratzer and Lauren Dwyer; and a host of family members and friends at St. Anne's.

She was preceded in death by her siblings Lillian, Fred, Mable, and Kay along with 2 nephews.

A Visitation will be held from 9:00 am - 10:00 am at St. Anne's Episcopal Church, 347 Libal Street, De Pere, Wisconsin 54115, with a Funeral Service following at 10:00 am at St. Anne's with Fr. Eric Mills, celebrant. Interment will be in New Jersey.
