Maria J. Connett

Maria J.(Jessica) Connett, age 41, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully, Friday, June 17, 2022, with her loving husband and family at her side, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born August 10, 1980 in Fresno, CA.

Jessica graduated from Hanford Joint Union High School in 1998. She met the love of her life, Wade Connett, at Fort Carson, Co, in 2001 while serving in the U.S. Army. They married on October 5, 2002 and shared 20 wonderful years together.

Jessica was a devoted wife to Wade, a loving mom to her beloved daughter, Nyssa. She loved to travel the world and loved to spend time with friends and family. She had a kind and giving soul, always put others before herself. She fought hard, but remained positive through her illness. Her strength and determination was to be admired.

Jessica is survived by her husband, Wade Connett; her daughter, Nyssa Connett; her mother, Francisca Ochoa; her father Jose Ochoa; brother, Alfonso Ochoa and sister, Linda Ochoa.

A celebration of Jessica's life will be held at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay), Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 1 to 3 PM. A sharing of memories will follow at 3 PM.
