Marguerite "Maggie" Lussenden, 93, of Green Bay, peacefully passed away on July 11, 2017 .
Maggie was born on February 28, 1924 in Crookston, MN, to Lester and Bertha (Behrens) Lussenden. She moved to Green Bay in 1947 when she started her career with Pauly Cheese Company and retired in 1985.
Maggie traveled extensively both in the United States and abroad. She had many friends and maintained numerous pen pal relationships. She served as a board member and past President of the Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority. She was a very generous benefactor to the community causes she believed in.
Much of Maggie's life revolved around her deep love and faith. She was a Deacon, Elder and Clerk of Session at Grace Presbyterian Church until it closed in 2003. She became a member of Wequiock Presbyterian Church. In addition to her church activities. She was an avid Packers fan and loved to watch Dancing with the Stars.
In addition to Maggie's family she had a special relationship with Nanci (Steve Brown) Roffers and the Ken Solper and Norman Kolbusz families. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her 2 brothers and 6 sisters.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 from 9 - 11 AM at Wequiock Presbyterian Church, 4014 Wequiock Road, Green Bay, WI 54311. A funeral service will follow at 11 AM in the church. Interment will be in Nicolet Memorial Gardens. The Newcomer Funeral Home of Green Bay has been entrusted with arrangements.
