Margaret M. “Margie” Micolichek (Bayerl), 84, of Green Bay, entered eternal life on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. She was born October 17, 1939 in Birch Creek, Michigan to John and Claire (Tanguay) Bayerl.
She resided in the Green Bay area most of her life. She was a graduate of Menominee High School in Michigan. After high school she moved to Manitowoc, WI and became a hair dresser. She married Raymond J. Micolichek on October 10, 1959 and together they raised 4 children. She was an avid gardener and had beautiful flower gardens. She was a die-hard Packer fan and attended many of their training camps and games. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, reading, astronomy, bird watching and was fascinated with World War II. Her guilty pleasures were a Large McDonald's Decaf Coffee with three cream in it, Kroll's, and Frank & Pat's pizza.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; son, Timothy; brother John Bayerl; and sister, Cecelia Bretl.
She is survived by her children: Deb (Tom) Smith, Dan Micolichek, Lisa (John) Mendoza; grandchildren: Ryan (Nicole) Smith, Adam (Diana) Smith, Jake (Rachel) Rentmeester, Ashley (Alan) Sayler, Kayla Worachek, Brandon (Shayla) Worachek and Olivia Mendoza; great-grandchildren: Abigail, Hannah, Sarah, Joshua, Elijah, Daniel, Rebekah, Adrian, and Jasmine; brothers: Dick Bayerl and Andy (Cindy) Bayerl; sisters: Mary (Milt) Whitmore and Theresa (Roy) Harris; and sister-in-law, Jann Bayerl.
